If your battery is dead in the car the trunk release button won't work, because the battery is dead. Where is the key stuck?

If the key is stuck in the ignition get a jumper pack or jumper cables and hook it to the jumper points under the hood. The key will release and truck will pop open with the button.

If you hook a jumper pack (or cables to another car and) to the car under the hood at the jump points the car will start if you use the key. While the cables are hooked to the car the trunk release will have power and pop your trunk.

The trunk will not open even if you charge the battery under the hood. There’s a second battery in the trunk but the terminals are not hooked to battery so no power getting to it to open trunk. Any other way to open trunk?

The battery is located in the trunk in a Chevy cobalt, as well as the release.

Same issue rn. Im fucked. I got the key out of the ignition w a release button under the steer wheel. But the key wont open trunk, my trunk button wont work, since its dead, and I used a batter attached to my batter in the truck to get home. Now I cant get it out. This is bs
