how to replace entire 1998 legacy wagon R tail light assembly

Asked by upnights Aug 25, 2016 at 09:45 PM about the 1998 Subaru Legacy L Wagon AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just getting started doing this and stopped because looks like I have so much
interior trim to remove to get at 2 of the 4 attachment nuts. I may be going
about it wrong. Any thoughts?

you're replacing the long one in the hatch? you might search a forum / buy an ebay e-manual for your car and see what it suggests.

Get an 8mm socket and long extension to access the attachment nuts. Otherwise pretty straightforward.
