Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 Subaru Legacy L Wagon (Manual) 3rd Gen
model production 5/00.

The Driveshaft to my rear wheels broke off at the joints of the Slip Yoke
connecting to the Transmission.

My question is:
"Are the (MT) Manual Transmission Driveshafts of the Legacy L, GT,
Outbacks & Bajas [any of the 3rd Generation models created during 1999-
2004], compatible to be used and interchanged to replace my driveshaft on
my 3rd Gen 2000 Subaru Legacy L Wagon since they all have the same
base model and look?"

You will need to take measurements or take the old driveshaft with you when you shop for a used driveshaft. A driveshaft shop can repair the one you have now.
