ive replaced water pump timing belt fuel pump altenator battery and spark plugs on my 1997 subaru legacy outback but it still wont start! starter fluid makes it run but quits after it burns it up?????

mechanic said the alternator was
reading18 volts could of that ruined
some thing electrical?

May have damaged to fuel injector,s,over voltage,or even hurt the ECM.

I had the same problem it would run on starter fluid it turns out it was my fuel pump easy to change its in the back. Behind the back seat
