Muffler flange bolt size?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am going to be replacing my muffler. Looking at the muffler flange, it looks like the
easiest way for me to remove the rusted to hell bolts, is going to be to sawzall the 2 bolts
off, and replace with new ones. Does anyone know off-hand what size these nuts and
bolts will be, so I can pick them up, before starting the project?

Use a high speed fiber cut off disk on a $20 Harbor Frieght hand grinder... I use a 3" .... just wear safety glasses

Oh .. forgot .. Mine were 5/16 x 1"

I like impact wrenches. It either takes the nut off or snaps it. :)
