LLBeanSubaru Outback 2002 A/C problem. Evaced and recharged. Cools for 90 sec and shuts off any ideas?

LL Bean Subaru 2002 A/C evaced and recharged now it runs cold but only for 90 sec.  then it shuts off and will not cool.  Any more ideas?

What do you mean by it shuts off? Is the compressor in the engine bay whats shuting off, or is it the whole ac system, also does it kick back on after a while or does it stay off indefinately untill you turn the a/c off and back on or the car off and back on? A few more details would be helpfull in figuring this out.

The a/c compressor shuts off after about 1 minute as we are driving away and does not turn on again. The clutch cycles off and does not turn on until you stop and shut off car and then it turn on again for 1 minute then off again.

sounds like a bad relay in the wiring for the a/c compressors clutch takeup.

Thanks I'll try it. I took out the relay and switched it with others already. I get a new one.
