No visible oil leaks, no oil in antifreeze, no exhaust oil. Always shows low or empty on dipstick.

I had to drill 3/16 in. holes and use stainless steel aircraft lockwire to repair. I know that only a limited number of people have access to lockwire, and 410 dollars is insane for a door handle.

Can changing to a full synthetic oil(5W30) cause slug to build up in the engine. I am getting 23.8 MPG's around town and 33.6 MPG on the highway.
