Question type: General

Is it safe to trade wheels from a 2001 chevy Cavalier to a Chevy hhr.  I believe the tires are smaller  on the cavalier than the hhr.

Sure if the rims fit is the biggest thing, no interference with the brake calipers, and if the tires are in good shape, but your speedometer will be off.

You can use this site.....powerdog.com enter your original size wheel/tire Then enter the one you are change to...it will tell you the size differences. You can also play with other size tires to get it back to the original size and the speedometer will be correct
