I have a problem with my brake ligh and turn signal
on the back left light. Its on it just doesn't signal
when turning and doesn't signal when I push the
brakes. What could it be? I was told to buy a new
turn signal switch, but the person wasn't sure if
that's the problem.

Bulb may be the only issue because the bulb is a dual filament style, Try replacing it and the other side too as its not only a good idea to replace in pairs but if the other light bulb is failing it can cause the other side to not function correctly.

If the bulb dosen't do it most likely the directional mechanism in the column very common on these to go out just check out how many for sale on Ebay for your app,, that will tell you something,,

I have a 2000 Impala. When I got the car it seemed to have electrical problems. One issues I%27m worried about is that my blinkers will stop working out of nowhere. When I would put on the signal%2C the arrows on the dash wont respond at all. It would happen on and off when I first got it%2C I would just turn the car off and back on and they would work.
