What's wrong with my ac fan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So when I turn my a/c on , the fan only blows at a
low speed, but my mechanic said  it's suppose to
be blowing at full speed once u turn ac on. So my
air is kind of cold, but definitely can be colder...so
what's wrong with the fan, do I need a new one, or
is it an electrical problem that powers the fan?

Could be blower resistor pack. Usually is attached or near blower under passenger side dash. Sounds like the fan/blower is o.k.
