I have a 2006 Impala and I just got a new starter
and I was wondering do I need to get a new battery
because I still have to get a jump

You might need a new battery. You should be able to have the battery and alternator tested for free at an auto parts store.

I went to AutoZone and they test the battery and they said that the battery was good can a battery not be as good enough to start the car up
