Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2006 Chevy Impala ltz 3.9 l pulled it into my shop
to do maintenance and repairs car sat for 4
months while doing these repairs. Replace a
broken swaybar and both power steering lines
cause of leaks had to disconnect motor mounts
and roll motor forward to get enough room to put
in powers steering lines and swaybar. Put
everything back together and trickle charger the
battery. Went to start everything came on but
would not crank over went to turn key off and it
was locked and would not come out had to pull
covers of colum and press the release button.
Tryed it again after replacing battery terminals and
cleaning up all ground connections and positive
connections. Same issue no crank. Dash lights that
are on are seatbelt abs and car with lock. Also
shift indicator didn't have box around the park
letter. Can't unlock the doors with fob or switch
and the windows won't go up and down everything
else seems to work. Now recently no power
besides seats and mirrors.

Battery was disconnected and all fuses are good. I'm leaning towards it possibly being a bad ecm

Haven't had the chance to check the ecm or bcm but will tomorrow. When I had power tryed hooking up the code reader and it couldn't communicate with the car so I'm guessing one of the 2 is bad if not both. Going to call my gm dealer and see if they can test them.

Well problem was GM don't know how to seal a fuse box and was full of moister and corrosion on the inside. Cleaned it up sprayed with anti corrosion and added power and all systems go and car starts. Thank you GM for being retarded.
