With Chevy Trailblazers, are body parts from a 2005 usable for a 2006?

We have a 2006 Trailblazer that needs some body work as a result of an
accident.  I found a 2005 that is the same color.  The grill is the same design
(I believe they are different between the LS and LT).  We have the LS with
the longer chrome piece across the grill.  

We need to replace the driver side inner and out fender, grill, bumper, and
both headlight assemblies.  From what I have found from searching, it seems
like there shouldn't be an issue but wanted to throw it out to the experts to
weigh in.  I appreciate any info you have.

No problems here, swap away with the 05 LS, as long as you stick with LS short wheelbase parts. I keep a spare 03 LS grill for my 06 LS, fits perfect. Now with engine parts, stick with 06-09, as there are a few differences there, but not the body/brakes/ suspension ect.... By the way you're correct LS, and LT have different grills and headlights and are not interchangeable without major modifications. I wouldn't want LT anyway, those headlights are $$$$$$.
