2006 chevy trailblazer tranny

I have a 06 trailblazer and it shifts fine the first
shift then it seems like it reves up as of it went to
nutral

The trany is starting to slip. More than likely its gonna need to be rebuilt. Should have a trany shop check it out. First check the trany fluid to make sure it is full.
