Sounds like your battery is dead, have the battery checked out, may need a new battery. The charging system would need to be checked also, alternator, to see if it is charging.

Okay got new battery started right up but cut off like it's not getting gas. Shutting off after 30 seconds.

Had my mechanic over today she started right up no problem mech. Said computer probably didn't recognize there was a new battery right away. But she's fine now thank you for responding promptly

My battery died without warning and although the Vitara jump started ok the car behaved oddly and a long journey did not help. After the next jump start the car went to limited speed mode. A simple change of battery solved it but raises the question why a dying battery isn't flagged up as a warning. After all the dying battery of a the key fob is!
