head gasket
I've blown the head gasket--and the engine--on this 1992 here at 160,000. The local Toyo dealer claims they replaced this in 1998. Somebody must have replaced it sometime, becasue none of the originals survived 100,000, as far as I can tell. But the previous owner, 2nd of three, is a Dr., our kids' "Aunt Judy" and lives across the street: she bought the vehicle in 1996 at 60,000 miles and never took it to the dealer that says they did the fix, and she has all maintenance records from the shop that did maintain it.
Toyo says that, given the 98 replacement, it's not their problem. But I've read scores of posts insisting that Toyo replaced the original defective gasket with a brand new defective gasket until they eventually re-engineered one that worked.
Any help here?
Thanks
