Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just purchased a '95 4Runner and I love it! Everything seemed perfect until.......I went to open
the rear window which was working an hour earlier, but nothing happened. I do not hear a
clicking sound or anything humming so I am clueless.PLEASE give me any suggestions. Is
there a way to open manually?

Thats a great car. Nice find... Have you tried all switches that operate that particular rear window? If none of them will operate the window- its either a bad wire or bad motor. The door panel needs to be removed to diagnose the problem. I had same issue in my mitsubishi- turned out to be the motor- $250 to fix it... Expect to be even less if its only a bad wire. IF one of the switches that operates that window works- then its probably a bad relay. Not sure what you're looking at to repair that... Now, I highly doubt that the window is on its own fuse- but did you check the fuse box to make sure none of the fuses are blown? Good luck!
