why my 1997 toyota 4runner acelerate unexpectedly

it acelerate itself when turn on the engine and take like 10 minutes to come down and after a few minutes do the same, it is burning the gasoline too fast.

assure the battery is newer than FIVE...these tin/antimony alloy batteries are junk inside of five years~...also the connection from the 1/0 black cable to chassis will assure all components can enjoy steady ground...make it steady by wirebrushing any corrosion that exists from multiple high-amperage starts~
