Should I sell my 2000 toyota 4runner SR5 4WD with 58k miles on it?

Asked by Nickc19 Dec 18, 2014 at 10:41 AM about the 2000 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4WD

Question type: General

My truck is worth about 7-9k dollars from Kelly Blue Book. I drive my 4runner
everyday and it has never been in any serious accidents or had any serious problems
with it and I'm a first owner on it too. I'm interested in buying an 03-07 used car maybe
like an infiniti g35, bmw 3 series, audi A4 or cadillac cts.  So would any of those cars I
mentioned be worth buying used under 80k miles and for about 8-10k dollars if I sold
my truck or traded it in?  Or do you recommend any other cars I could buy used for
that price.

Your truck is worth more than a dollar value- because of its ultimate reliability- you can drive it forever with only routine maintenance- those other cars you mentioned have the potential to bankrupt you with repairs (especially the Audi and the Caddy)- and drive you insane with their quirky surprises- omg- go ahead if you figure you got it too good-

It seems to me that the guy who bashes the Infiniti G35 has never owned one... I have 2 G35 coupes and they are AMAZING CARS AND VERY RELIABLE! As long as you maintain the G35 like you would any other car you will LOVE the G.. They handle AMAZING and are very fun to drive.. But i am also a 4Runner freak, i have a 97 runner in amazing shape as well as my baby- my 2000 black SR5 4x4 sport that i drive all year long and put my 2005 G35 away for nice sunny days or to take long trips with it. my G has 340 HP and is a real eye catcher just like my 4Runner.. if you look around you can find a very nice, well taken cared of G35 coupe and keep your Runner so you can drive it as your daily driver..My first G35 was a 2003 and had 198k on it when i sold it and its still on the road today! You own a Great 4Runner i would hate to see you sell the most RELIABLE truck ever built when you have so many more miles to put on it.. Just my thought..... I PROMISE if you buy a nice clean G35 that has been done up that will save you a ton of money, plus if you really shop around and buy from a adult you can grab one pretty cheap if you know how to wheel & Deal and find the right car.. Good Luck my friend!!
