2002 Toyota 4 runner

i have a Toyota 4 runner and i need a new transmission but its really hard
finding one for the car since its a limited and its a 4x4. would a 2000
transmission fit into my 2002 4 runner?

Limited is a trim package, not the transmission. You will need a 4WD transmission. Can't say for sure if you can use the older transmission or not. Compare them, especially all the electronic connectors. If any are different don't try to use it.
