Toyota 4 Runner VSC light

I have a 2004 4 Runner and the VSC lights came on not sure when just noticed
. I took to a garage and they tested it and said that it was possibly be a spark
plug and a coil so they replace both on # 6 cal.and cleared the check Eng. light  
that has stayed out but the VSC lights are still lit, Now I can start the eng. and
as long as i sit there at an idle the lights stay out but as soon as i put the car
into gear the lights come back on. Looking for some ideas as to what is
wrong!!!!

I found the answer on line took it back to the shop that fixed it and they had to recalibrate the the steering or something like that, there is an article on line that explained it but i did not have scanner to do it.
