Ditto. If you signed off on the repairs you may have dispute on you hands. Then again they may be cooperative, but I doubt it, contact the Insurance Commissioner and Dep't of Consumer Affairs in your State, and you may want to threaten them that you are going to do that, sometimes they will go ahead and pay it instead of having a complaint filed..the insurance companies don't like complaints filed against them and might settle with you to avoid that, and it does sound like it was part of damage in accident. Also see if the body shop will give you a statement that is was.

Dave's answer: Also see if the body shop will give you a statement that it was a result of the accident. Clarification I personally think you will not succeed in your attempt to relate the two. Speed of collision was to low, and being you didn't roll it or something it would be very hard to associate the two. With roof pillars between the two basically isolating the sun rood from the area of the accident, I don't believe it could cause this to happen. I'd check wiring to the sun roof and everything related since you just had a major rebuild prior to the accident. Since you say the rear will tilt, you have power. Check the switch specifically, did the air bags go off? Maybe that might have caused a wire to get screwed up, pull down the roof switch and run an electrical test. Just a thought.
