My brother in law changed the pitman arm and idler arm on my 1994 Toyota 4 runner. Was using a hammer to taker them off. Now my Toyota has a water leak do you think something came loose or thermstat

He used a hammer to take parts off. Do you think something came loose? Or
is it thermostat? A screw did fall out from engine when he was hitting the
pitman arm loose.

I wonder if your brother in law missed with the hammer and knocked a hole in the radiator. Never ever let your brother in law work on your vehicle, NEVER.
