I have replaced my ignition switch on a Toyota 4 runner, now it will not start. It
does however turn over strong but seems there is no fire. Is there a reset step
that needs to be preformed and how?

Did you install the right switch? Some switches need to be adjusted.
Yes sir. Ordered from Toyota and sized next to the old one and both looks the same. It acts as it did once when we had an extra key made without the chip in it.
Sorry about the delay, this definitely sounds like a security system problem, did you fix it yet? There is a reset procedure I think you can find on line. I hope this helps take care
