Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My power seat won’t go back.  How can I
move it back manually?

You cannot. If you took the seat out and removed the motor you might find a way to slide it back.

Have you, or has anybody out there, dealt with, and hopefully solved, this problem with a 2995 Avalon or the equivalent Lexus model?

You need to fix it. I don't know of any way to convert a power seat to manual unless you replace the whole thing.
