toyota avalon xls 2003 NO SOUND!

so i have no sound coming from my speakers the raido turns on,but  no darn
sound..can someone please help me thank yoi.

After 20 years the unit may be beat , Of course things need to be tested before replacing

Try a reset first, locate the radio fuses and remove them, wait 10 minutes then put them back in and check the system. If it works your done if it still is inoperative then then it needs to be checked out. Could be a wiring issue.

check fuses for tarnish , radio is tied into computer , All connections should be soldered
