Question type: General
I have a 2003 Toyota Avalon XLS that has the R205 60/R16 tires. I would like to go just a size higher to a P205 65/R16 tire but not sure it will clear fender when turning.

What does the drivers door tag say for tire size ? Changing your tire size to a taller height, will change the speedometer reading, cruise control operation (to a point) and acceleration. The factories usually leaves about 1-2 inches of extra clearance on the front fender wells for tire deflection into the fender well during a turn. Will the rims accept the different tire size ?

I changed the tire size with no problems except the ECO AVG mileage. It is reading a little low. I am sure the odometer will be off also.
if you go from a 205r6016 to a 215r6516,,,the tire will rub the struts in both front and back
