Could a P0011 error code include a broken timing chain?

Asked by Leslie Nov 25, 2020 at 02:20 PM about the 2006 Toyota Avalon XLS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Toyota Avalon with 145,000 miles.  Car shut down while driving,
and we thought maybe the timing chain broke.  The car won't turn over at all,
but battery and electrical still work.  Error code says P0011.  Is this beyond
repair?

Basically its just telling you that the timing is needing readjustment. Over time the timing belt/chain will stretch and throw the timing off
