car died has no oil`

car was on freeway, sounded like flat tire not a knocking, pulled over and car
died. checked car and has no oil, no fresh oil on engine or under car and none
in radiator. Radiator does have small white film on outer edges. car will not start
has power but makes one click when tried. Oil pan in tack. why will not start?
did it throw rod? Where did oil go?

If the oil leaked out earlier in the drive then you would not see a puddle now. Do you hear a metallic clank when trying to start it or just an electronic click?
