1991 Toyota not turning on

I had problems with my breaklights which
lead to battery dying but battery was good,
just needed to change a part & clean it up.
Changed all bulbs, checked all fuses &
changed battery switch. Well break lights
still don't work, I ordered a new lamp failure
part but now car won't start, won't click..
battery is great. Everything turns on. What
could it be? The fuses in the box connected
to battery on red side. Pls help 805-814-

Open trunk. Look at the left side....driver side hinge. There should be a wiring harness in the area. See if there are any wires broken or shorted to ground. Smell the harness. If it smells like burnt toast...that is where your problem is. Get back with results.
