Engine runs until I give it gsd

My car runs but when I step on
gas it smohers out and quits
running and it restarts like it's
flooded

Assuming you have a 4 cylinder engine in this vehicle....look under the hood for a....Fuel Pressure Regulator near the Intake Manifold. This small round device should have a vacuum hose attached. Pull off that hose and smell the end of said hose. Does it smell like gasoline? Also...look for a LABLE...which will direct you to said FPR. Get back with results.
