Passenger-side Power Window stopped working

Asked by tenryuu Sep 25, 2014 at 03:14 PM about the 1994 Toyota Camry LE Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1994 Toyota Camry 2-door.  Without warning, my passenger window stopped
working (luckily in the UP position).  I don't recall any problems with the motor and my
driver's side window still works fine.  I checked the window lock button and it wasn't
pressed so I'm just wondering if there are separate fuses for the passenger and driver's
windows or if the motor on the passenger side just died.  I've read the messages about
finding the fuse, but it looks like there's only one and, as I said, the driver's window still
works fine.

does it work with the passenger door switch because it could be the switch for the window you might have to take the doors apart and check the continuity across the switch in the on (up or down) position it could be either of those check those before condemning the motor
