94 Camry le wont start.234000 miles

Asked by crystalcry79 Jan 08, 2015 at 08:34 AM about the 1994 Toyota Camry LE

Car died while driving! Started bucking
and backfiring and shut off..would
start back up and shut off
immediately. Now wont start at
all..looked under hood# 3 spark plug
wire was off..pushed it back n but
nothing..fuses are good..

Take off your distributor cap. Have someone quickly hit the key. Watch the rotor under the cap. If it did not turn when someone hit the key, then your timing belt has broken. If rotor did turn, put cap back on and check for spark. Post back with results.....
