How many quarts of oil to fill 94 Camry?

Jan 30, 2016  Have 94 Camry. 4 cyl.  If out of oil...how many quarts should I put in?  Great-Gramma Alice in California.

Start with 3 quarts, then check the dipstick and fill as necessary. It should take no more than 4 1/2 quarts of full when drained out.

Left out the balancer shaft assembly when I rebuilt it at 425k miles. My 2.2 holds 5 and 1/4 quarts now.
