My husband put in a new starter and the car still won't start when he turns the key it makes a click sound he just replaced the battery too what could it be

makes a click sound  he has tried checking the wires and the ground wire

It could either be that your starter/ignition coil is bad, or your plugs might need changing. I hope this helps and you get it resolved. Good luck!
