NO RPM'S

THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON THE TACK IS NOT WORKING MY FRIEND SAID THE CODE SHOWS THERE ARE NO RPMS TO DISTRUBURTOR WHAT CAUSES THAT ?  
TRYING TO SEL THIS CAR IT HAS NEW EVERYTHING IN LAST 8 MTHS INCLUDING T BELT AND WATER PUMP AND BATTERY DONT WANT TO INVEST ANY MORE IN THIS CAR

Most likely it's a bad RPM sensor in the distributor. Try Ebay or local salvage yard for another distributor.
