Rpm's rev high for no reason and speed try's to go but rpm's rev way to high.

Rpm revs high and very little speed. I turn off
engine and put in park than start again it acts
normal. Acted up twice on fwy to me this morning.
Started hearing a spueeling this morning.

Any warning lights on or flashing when the engine is running? Mileage on this vehicle is....? You might consider checking the Transmission Fluid. Procedure should be in the Owner's Manual.
