Question type: General

but after having that done my car will
only drive in reverse it will not drive
forward it will not accelerate it only
revs up ...when I turn my car on it
sounds great better than ever so I just
don't understand how those simple
things being done to it has caused it to
not want to accelerate checked all the
fluids all the fluids are fine but the
check engine light is on but I was told
that was due to a sensor that
shouldn't be causing any acceleration
problems

That CEL being on AFTER repair/maintenance seems to indicate something was not performed properly. Do a good visual inspection under the hood of this vehicle and give us the Identification of that CEL code. Look for something that is disconnected or broken.
