just need to know what it could possibly be

I'm thinking it could be the fuel pump

Sometimes you can hear the fuel pump start whining when you turn on the ignition. Have someone stick their ear in the trunk when you do this, so they can hear it more easily. DON'T run the pump too long or you'll burn it out. Next, sniff around the throttle body; if you can smell gas, the pump is probably working. Consider also changing out the fuel filter,if you haven't done so.
