What does it mean to have an improperly tightened gas cap?
Could the improperly tightened gas cap be the reason for the check engine light staying on or flashing?
I suspect that my 1997 Toyota Camry has it's original gas cap.
How many turns on the gas cap for proper tightening?

I have an avalon, should I have a toyota gas cap, instead of another kind. My light is on
