1997 Toyota Camry le problems.

Asked by Brian Feb 18, 2020 at 08:02 PM about the 1997 Toyota Camry LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok, this is my first time asking on a site like this so
please bear with me. Lol my 1997Toyota Camry le
2.2l 4 cyl was showing a code p0773 shift solenoid
e electrical and the dash fuse keeps blowing as
soon as I put my car into any gear other than park
and it won't shift out of first gear, regular way or
manually. I put a brand new shift solenoid e in it
and it still keeps blowing the fuse and still won't
shift out of first automatically or manually. I've
looked for frayed or borken wires in all the places
I've heard about but haven't seen any. I'm so
confused and really need to get the Camry running.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Starting
to feel defeated.
