Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1999 Toyota Camry LE 2.2l 4 cyl. Car starts but dies. Replaced items include plugs, wires, coils, fuel injectors, TPS sensor and MAP sensor. Had fuel line off fuel filter and it does pump fuel, when you turn the key on u can hear the fuel pump for a few seconds. If I hit it with starter spray it runs but the second u stop spraying the car stops running.

Sounds like fuel isn't getting into the engine. Either your pressure is not enough or your injectors are not pulsing and putting fuel into the engine. I'd see to do a fuel pressure test. If the injectors aren't pulsing then it could be a computer injector driver issue.

there may be 2 relays for the pump , one for prime one for run . Check for good ground at the disconnect .

I can hear the fuel pump but when I disconned the fuel line at filter it doesn't spray it just dribbles which I know is not 45 psi. And it started doing the shut off thing a month ago after about 20 min of driving. Just got progressively worse and I doubt it is the fuel filter and I know it isn't the fuel pressure regulator since I had the line off before the regulator and it just dribbles. Looks like the pump I think, since I can hear it run the relay is ok and unless there is a second relay it has to be the pump. I have looked online and have found no secondary or run only relay so far.
