what could be causing poor gas mileage in my '99 Camry LE?

My '99 Camry LE used to get 25mpg city/ 29mpg hwy, when I first got it. About. 6 months
later, it suddenly dropped to 19mpg city/ 25 mpg hwy. No lights came on, and the car
operated just fine. I have had several mechanics look at it, including a Toyota dealer. They
cannot find anything that would contribute to this problem. I would love to know what it is so
I can fix it. At this point, I may just as well go back to an SUV with that kind of mileage.

As a matter of fact, I have. But....I had the mileage problem both before and after. New tires didn't seem to change anything.

has your driving habits changed? what about a cleaning of the gas tank. this should be done every 15,000 miles. keeping filters clean and changed. check this site out it gives you ways to save gas mileage and lets you know how much you can loss if you done not change driving habits. hope this helps (http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/driveHabits.jsp)
