I have a 1999 toyota camry and when I hit the brakes to make a stop, accelerate after making a turn it, or accelerate after letting the car drive itself it shakes and vibrates real bad. What is wrong?

Do you mean that the engine is running rough, or do you mean that your front end shakes and vibrates?

First check your tires for loss of wheel weights and look for any visible broken belts. Look for eggs or lumps. Then check your CV boots for tears. If one has torn, you should notice a lot of grease on the underside of the car. A dry CV shaft will cause vibration. If all looks well, remove your brake calipers. Make sure the slides are working and your piston hasn't seized up. Since you have the brakes off, check your wheel bearings and make sure they aren't dried out. If they are pressed on, skip that step. Now that you have the tires off, inspect your struts. Make sure they are not leaking oil and check the upper bolts under the hood for tightness. Lastly, check your motor mounts and transmission mounts for any missing or cracked rubber. Once you get the tires back on, you can jack up the front end and check your ball joints for play. Put a crow bar under your tire and lift up and down quickly. Tire should be nice and tight with no visible play. That should pretty much cover the bases as far as checking things on your own. If anything has been bent or damaged, you will have to bring it to a shop and have them check the factory tolerences.......
