Ok so I have a 2007 Toyota camery with 173,000 miles on it and I have gotten the oil changed 2 now and it continues to be bone dry after about a week or so also when I press on the break the oil pan light comes on but not when I accelerate what do I need to do ?

I think your engine is toast. Look for large oil leaks and check out the PCV but I think you got a bad deal.
This 2.4 liter engine has major oil consumption issues. Toyota knows about it and was fixing them for awhile but not sure they still are. They changed in 2011 to 2.5 liter engine where they fixed this issue.
I have had the same issue with my 2007 Camry. I have roughly the same milage. Toyota checked my car for major oil consumption and refused to fix it. Saying they could not pin point the issue. They were fixing them for a while. Not mine still have the issue and I dont have a oil leak
I have an 2008 Camry that had the same issue, "excessive oil consumption". The dealership took care of the issue & gave me a loaner while they repaired it.
I have a 2008 Toyota Camry same engine model as yourself. I found out there was a recall on the engine because of oil consumption. I took it to a Toyota service center and they literally rebuilt the engine for free. First they ran and oil consumption test. Put a bunch of tamper-proof stickers all around my engine to make sure I couldn't tamper with the oil. I had to run a certain amount of miles and then return the car for them to test. I failed the oil consumption test and they brought my car in and fixed the entire engine for absolutely free. 2007 to 2009 Camrys engine 2 a z Fe have recalls because of that. I believe they have a cut off around the 100000 mile Mark. I was lucky to catch it at 83,000 miles. Mine is also a manual transmission. So on top of fixing my pistons and rings and everything for free they did the entire clutch labor for free as long as I bought the parts. So for a total of $500 I had a brand new engine and clutch put in at 83,000 miles. Apparently people are saying that they are being refused to fix it. Maybe it's because they were over the 100000 mile Mark? I don't know. But I had absolutely no problem getting mine fixed
