My new cd player isnt coming on why could it not work?

2000 toyota camry just removed the cd player and tried to install an aftermarket cd player  
wired everything like my car harness said still no power to it might have wired it wrong not
sure if anyone could help it would be great

The first thing you will need to do is find the power wire from the wire harness. All you need is one of those needle test lights. Once you find the power wire, hook it to the power inlet wire to the CD player. If CD player does not light up, check the fuse on your disc player. Sometimes there is an inline fuse, or a very small 10 amp fuse on the back of the disc player. Did you have a good ground for the ground wire? That could be your problem also. All you should need is 12 volts to the player and a ground wire. Should light up. Then just hook up all the other wires to speakers, antenna, etc.....
