Car temp gauge getting hot but not to point of over heating

Asked by Juniior10 Jan 09, 2016 at 03:10 PM about the 2000 Toyota Camry LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It's a 2000 Toyota Camry. So the temp gets half way
between running hot and normal temp. When I turn
the a/c on both fans turn on and it reads half way or
normal. But once you start to drive it the gauge
goes back up no matter what. Hope someone can
help me out! Thanks!

I would do an engine/radiator flush, install new anti-freeze and a new thermostat.
