Where is the fuse for the speakers in my camry?

Asked by Vic101 Apr 17, 2014 at 04:19 PM about the 2000 Toyota Camry LE V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I parked it over the winter, started it in the spring and the speakers aren't working. Just
need to find out which fuse needs to be replaced.

Not usually a fuse in the speaker wires. If no sound is coming through, I would suspect that your internal amp is gone in the radio itself. Did you check to see if your model has a mute button? Usually if the stereo fuse blows, you have nothing at all as far as power. If you have all the lights and clock working, your fuse is good.

Heard a crackling sound and both back speakers went off. Turn the knob to back speakers, nothing, no sound.
