i got a 2001 toyota camry ce, after i start it he temp gauge shoots to 3 ocklock in less than 2 minutes, even when temps are freezing. When driving up a hill temp gauge shoots to 2 ocklock and it goes back normal downhill.

First I would change out your thermostat. 99% of the time, that is the cause of overheating issues. Post back if that didn't cure it.

i just put in a new thermostat and it solved the issue, thanks so much.
