My 2001 camry LE 4 cyl automatic will go into reverse and park, but will not engage in drive, second or low.

I'm no expert, but this sounds like transmission problems right here. Here are some things you can do. Scan the vehicle for codes if you have a handheld scanner. Check transmission fluid...is low, dirty, burnt odor? These are some quick things you can do but I do have to honestly say that there is a 85 percent chance that your transmission has an internal problem that will require either a major repair, rebuilding of or replacement of the transmission.

Have it scanned for error codes. You may have a bad VSS. Vehicle Speed Sensor.
